My current location... Kellerberrin WA!

Before I begin, congrats to the winners of the semi-final match (European Soccer Match Championship)...Italy. Was up watching the game.
Here's the link to where Kellerberrin is in WA (provided by Google map):

What am I doing here you may ask. Check out this video: the beauty of rural (country)! A great place to reflect, a great place to stopover in your next road trip for the pies, the coffee, the people, etc. A great place to see WA on a train, etc.

Kellerberrin is a small country town with bigger country towns such as Kalgoorlie WA (history has it being a Gold Mining town, it still is!) and Northam WA nearby, making it an ideal stopover for many trucks and motorists.

The street you're looking at is Great Eastern H'way. Trucks and motorists use this H'way often making stops for the pies, the coffee, etc.

A different angle of the town centre.

How did I get here:
I got on board the train known as the Prospector train from East Perth train station where you could buy the tickets to Kellerberrin train station. The train is operated by TransWA, a service known as the Merredin link and Avon link. For more info, please use Google search engine provided at the bottom of the page: type in TransWA.

Did you miss me?

I'm no longer on Christmas Island but am back in WA. Exactly where in WA? Hmm...if i was to tell you where is the fun in that! It will be for me to know and for you to find out...hehe :) But before we talk more about my current location, I just want to add a few more memories of Christmas Island.

Christmas Island is considered to be one of "the crabiest" place in the world (No! not the word 'crap!" when something wrong happens, it's the word CRAB as in little critters). There are many species of crabs on the island and the red crab migration...it is massive. I mean MASSIVE!! It's even on National Geographic! I did not arrive onto the island on time to witness it but I know that it was great. Here's what the red crab looks like:
Other crab species on the island include:

This little fella and I trust you have met the Robber Crab in my previous post. Yes!?

Other wildlife include, Birdwatching anyone?

The Red-footed Booby seabird.

The Bosun Bird:

The Christmas Island Frigatebird:
One of the few seabirds in the world which only nests on Christmas Island.

There are many other activities which you can do on Christmas Island namely Golf, Snorkelling, Scuba Diving, Bike riding and much, much more.
